പൊലീസുകാരിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവായി മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍

മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ പൊലീസുകാരിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവായി അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു. ജോഷി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ‘ഫാമിലിമാന്‍’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്‍റെ രസകരമായ ഈ കഥാപാത്രം. രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളുടെ അച്ഛനായ ഒരു സാധാരണക്കാരന്‍റെ വേഷമാണിതില്‍ യൂണിവേഴ്സല്‍ സ്റ്റാറിന്. ഭാര്യ പൊലീസുകാരിയാണെന്നത് ഈ ചെറിയ കുടുംബത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രമേയം.

ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ ബ്രദേഴ്സിന് ശേഷം ജോഷി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ ചിത്രമാണിത്. അരോമ ഫിലിംസിന്‍റെ ബാനറില്‍ എം മണി നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്ന ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് തിരക്കഥ രചിക്കുന്നത് ടി എ ഷാഹിദാണ്. നേരത്തേ എ കെ സാജന്‍ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് തിരക്കഥയൊരുക്കുമെന്നായിരുന്നു സൂചന. എന്നാല്‍ ഷാഹിദ് ഈ സിനിമയുടെ രചന ആരംഭിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞതായാണ് ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്‍റെ പൊലീസുകാരിയായ ഭാര്യയെ ആര് അവതരിപ്പിക്കും എന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ തീരുമാനമായിട്ടില്ല.

ജോഷിയും മോഹന്‍ലാലും ഷാഹിദും മുമ്പ് ‘മാമ്പഴക്കാലം’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഒരുമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആ സിനിമ മികച്ച വിജയം നേടിയിരുന്നു. ആക്ഷന്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുന്ന സംവിധായകനും തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തുമാണെങ്കിലും ‘ഫാമിലിമാന്‍’ കുടുംബപ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ ചിത്രമാക്കി മാറ്റാനാണ് അണിയറപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.

ആരോഗ്യകരമായ മത്സരമാകാമെന്ന് മോഹന്‍‌ലാല്‍

കലാരംഗത്ത്‌ ആരോഗ്യപരമായ മത്സരമാകാമെന്നു നടന്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍. കേരള യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി യുവജനോത്സവം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് യുവജനോത്സവങ്ങള്‍ ആവശ്യമാണെന്നും കലാരംഗത്ത് ആരോഗ്യകരമായ മത്സരങ്ങള്‍ വേണമെന്നും ലാല്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്.

സ്കൂള്‍, കോളജ് കലോത്സവങ്ങളെയും യുവജനോത്സവങ്ങളെയും സിനിമാലോകം വളരെ പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെയാണ് കാണുന്നത്. മഞ്ജുവാര്യര്‍, കാവ്യാമാധവന്‍, അമ്പിളീദേവി, കെ.എസ്‌ ചിത്ര, ജി. വേണുഗോപാല്‍ തുടങ്ങി ഒട്ടേറെപ്പേരെ യുവജനോത്സവങ്ങളാണ് കണ്ടെത്തി സിനിമാലോകത്തിന് നല്‍‌കിയത്.

എന്നാല്‍ പലപ്പോഴും സ്കൂള്‍, കോളജ് കലോത്സവങ്ങളിലും യുവജനോത്സവങ്ങളിലും അനാരോഗ്യകരമായ മത്സരങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത് കാണുന്നു. അനാരോഗ്യകരമായ മത്സരം പാടില്ല. ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ കാലഘട്ടമാണ്‌ കലാലയകാലം. നാടിന്റെ മണ്‍മറഞ്ഞുപോയ കലകള്‍ക്കു പുനര്‍ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കു ന്ന വേദികൂടിയായി യുവജനോത്സവങ്ങള്‍ മാറണം.

നാടിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക പൈതൃകത്തിന്‌ മാറ്റുകൂട്ടുന്ന വേദികളാണ്‌ കലോത്സവങ്ങള്‍. കലാലോകത്തിലേക്ക്‌ വയലാര്‍ രാമവര്‍മ്മ, ഇരയിമ്മന്‍തമ്പി, എസ്‌എല്‍പുരം സദാനന്ദന്‍ തുടങ്ങി ഒട്ടേറെ പ്രതിഭകളെ സംഭാവന ചെയ്ത മണ്ണാണ്‌ ചേര്‍ത്തലയുടേതെന്നും മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ അനുസ്മരിച്ചു.

Mohanlal in double role in China Town!

According to sources Mohanlal will be playing a double role in Rafi Mecartin directed multi starrer China Town. The other actors in the film are Jayaram and Dileep.

Mohanlal is playing a dual role as father and son in the film.

Mohanlal will be essaying the characters of Mathukkutty and his father Avarachan. The father character will appear in the flashback scenes. As per the story line Mathukkutty has a mission to complete, a long cherished dream of his father. 

Mohanlal had acted in many movies as father and son. His last double role as father and son was in Ravanaprabhu as Mangalasseri Neelakandan and Karthikeyan, one of the most memorable father-son roles he ever played.

Mohanlal, Mammootty and Dileep in Arakkallan Mukkaal Kallan

The Malayalam hit scriptwriting duo of Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishna are all set to direct their maiden film, Arakkallan Mukkaal Kallan. The story is based on three robbers, which will be played by Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dileep.

Siby and Udayan had started their careers as assistant directors and later went on to become the busiest scenarists in Malayalam films. They have scripted Twenty 20, with almost every actor in the Malayalam industry in its cast.

Last year, the duo had written the script for the hit films Pokkiri Raja and Karyasthan. The multi-starrer Christian Brothers, scripted by them and directed by Joshiy, will hit the cinemas soon.

Prithviraj to become Mohanlal's villian

The latest to hear from the Malayalam film industry world is that a new Malayalam film is in it's planning stage, which will have an interesting star cast in it. This new untitled Malayalam movie will feature our God's own Superstar Mohanlal and Bigstar Prithviraj in the lead.

The main attraction of this new film is that Prithviraj will appear in this film as a strong villian opposing the lead role enacted by our own lalettan. This new film will be scripted by Suresh Babu and is going to be directed by Padmakumar, and it seems both are fresh from their latest hit movie, Mohanlal starrer Shikkar.

It is also hearing that this new film will keep almost all the crew members who have worked for Shikkar in it and the writer as well as the director are waiting for the approval from the part of it's lead actors. Even if, both the stars approve this new film, the shooting for this new film will commence only after a while, since all of them related with this film are busy with their other projects.

Ever since this new film is being announced, every Malayalam film goers are in a happy mood and are highly expecting to see a film that will feature Prithviraj opposite to our Mohanlal. Waiting for this film to happen as early as possible...

Renjith to do a Mohanlal movie

The most interesting news coming out from the Malayalam film industry is that the Sensational director in Malayalam, Renjith is now all set to team up with our Universal star Mohanlal after a very long time.

It should be noted that once Mohanlal and Renjith were two great friends and have made some evergreen hits in the past, but something happened in between them and as a result of this Renjith went ahead to team up with the Megastar Mammootty. In this period of time, Renjith who decided to do some experimental films have made some excellent films with Mammootty in the lead.

Now whatever be the issue between Mohanlal and Renjith, they have decided to join together for a new Malayalam movie. This new untitled Malayalam movie by Renjith will be using the short story, 'Leela' by R Unni. It will feature Mohanlal as a man, who hails from a rich Kottayam Christian family with some abnormal sexual fantasies.

Once this news gets aired, the expectation has started to fly sky high and it's also hearing that this new Renjith-Mohanlal film will start only after Renjith finishes his Prithviraj movie Indian Rupee.

Why Lalettan ignoring Jayaraj?

Jayaraj was trying to do a film with Lalettan for a while and even he had told this that it would be his next on one interview 3-4 months back. It's a story based on rain. But Jayaraj is now directing a movie with Mammootty on lead. Lalettan should be taking a leaf out of Mammootty's book that whenever a novel subject comes, he postpones all his works and do that role immediately. Loud Speaker was a good example; Pranchiyettan, Palerimanikyam...etc were another examples. Those films came from no-where. I think Anthony Perumbavoor controls Lalettan more than what he should be doing. He is spoiling the hard earned image of Lalettan. It's high time Lalettan should listen to the stories rather than AP. As I said before, AP is nothing to us and Lalettan is everything to us. It's a loss for us than anyone else who love good natural movies if Lalettan (better AP) continues this policy

SWAPNAMALIKA SET TO HIT SCREENS

Mohanlal's much-awaited movie Swapnamalika, which stars actresses Elena and Meera Jasmine alongside him, is finally set to hit the screens across the state soon. The film was delayed over the difference of opinion. Now, it has finished all post-production works and is gearing up to release this summer.

For the first time, Superstar Mohanlal has penned story, which is being made as Swapnamalika. It has been directed by KB Devaraj and produced by Karimbil Films. Late director Devarajan's daughter Aparna Karimpil has penned lyrics and singer MG Sreekumar is making his comeback as music director with this movie.

In the movie Swapnamalika, Mohanlal plays Dr. Appu Nair, who comes from the US to New Delhi for a medical conference. Israeli actress Elena appears as Radha Karmel, who meets Appu Nair on her journey to Kasi to perform the last rites of her husband. Appu strikes friendship with Radha, who takes him on a journey to Kerala, where they discover new facets to their relationship.

However, the movie Swapnamalika has done majority of its shooting at Varanasi and Kasi. Meera Jasmine, Nedumudi Venu, Sukumari, Kaviyoor Ponnama, Jagathy Sreekumar and many others are in its star cast.

മോഹന്‍‌ലാലിന് എംജി ശ്രീകുമാറിനെ പേടി!

സൂപ്പര്‍ താരം മോഹന്‍ ലാലും ഗായകന്‍ എംജി ശ്രീകുമാറും സ്കൂള്‍ കാലം മുതലേ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളാണ്. പറഞ്ഞിട്ടെന്താ കാര്യം. സൂപ്പര്‍ ഗായകനെ തനിക്കിപ്പോള്‍ പേടിയാണെന്നാണ് ലാല്‍ പറയുന്നത്. സംഗതി വേറൊന്നുമല്ല. ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ സീരിയലില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്നു. ആങ്കര്‍, ഗായകന്‍ എന്നീ രീതികളില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ ടെലിവിഷന്‍ മേഖലയിലും സിനിമാ മേഖലയിലും പ്രശസ്തനാണ് ശ്രീകുമാര്‍. അപ്പോള്‍ പിന്നെ അഭിനയ രംഗത്തേക്കും കക്ഷി കടന്നാലോ?

“ഇങ്ങനെ പോയാല്‍ നാളെ ഇയാള്‍ സിനിമയിലും കേറിയങ്ങ് അഭിനയിക്കും. അതോടെ നമ്മുടെ കട്ടയും പടവും മടങ്ങും!” - ഇങ്ങനെ പേടി പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചത് മറ്റാരുമല്ല, മലയാളത്തിന്റെ പ്രിയതാരവും ശ്രീകുമാറിന്റെ ദീര്‍‌ഘകാല സുഹൃത്തുമായ മോഹന്‍‌ലാല്‍ തന്നെയാണ്.

ചലച്ചിത്ര പിന്നണി ഗായകനെന്ന നിലയില്‍ 25 വര്‍ഷം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ എംജി ശ്രീകുമാറിനെ ആദരിക്കാനായി തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ‘മലയാളത്തിന്‍റെ ശ്രീക്കുട്ടന്‍’ എന്ന ചടങ്ങിലാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ തന്‍റെ പേടി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. എന്നാല്‍ ലാല്‍ പേടിക്കേണ്ടെന്നും തല്‍ക്കാലം സിനിമയിലേക്കൊന്നുമില്ലെന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ ലാലിനെ സമാധാനിപ്പിച്ചു.

“സിനിമയിലേക്കില്ലേ എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സിനിമയിലേക്കുണ്ട്. എന്നാലത് ക്യാമറയ്ക്ക് മുമ്പിലേക്കല്ല, പിന്നിലേക്കാണെന്ന് മാത്രം” - ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ നയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

മോഹന്‍ലാലിനെ നായകനാക്കി ഒരു ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യം താന്‍ ഗൌരവമായി ആലോചിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. പ്രിയദര്‍ശന്‍റെ കാഞ്ചീവരം പോലൊരു ചിത്രമാണ് ലാലിനെ നായകനാക്കി ഒരുക്കാന്‍ താന്‍ പ്ലാന്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നും എം‌ജി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സ്കൂള്‍ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ സംഗമമായി മാറിയ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പ്രിയദര്‍ശന്‍റെ അസാന്നിധ്യം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.

മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ - അഭിനയകലയുടെ ദേവനും അസുരനും

സംവിധായകരുടെ നടനാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍. അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനയിച്ച സിനിമകളുടെ വ്യത്യസ്തതയും ഭംഗിയും അതാണ്. മേക്കപ്പിന്‍റെ സഹായത്താല്‍ രൂപമാറ്റം വരുത്തി അധിക സിനിമകളില്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍. ശബ്ദത്തിലും വലിയ വ്യതിയാനങ്ങള്‍ പരീക്ഷിക്കാറില്ല. എന്നാല്‍, ഓരോ സംവിധായകരുടെ ചിത്രത്തിലും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ലാലിനെ പ്രേക്ഷകര്‍ക്ക് കാണാനാകുന്നു.

പത്മരാജന്‍റെ സിനിമകളില്‍ കണ്ട മോഹന്‍ലാലിനെ ഒരിക്കലും സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാടിന്‍റെ സിനിമകളില്‍ കാണാറില്ല. സത്യന്‍റെ സിനിമകളിലെ ലാലിനെ സിബി മലയിലിന്‍റെ സിനിമകളിലും കാണാനാവില്ല. രഞ്ജിത്തിന്‍റെ സിനിമകളില്‍ മറ്റൊരു ലാല്‍. ജോഷിയുടെ സിനിമകളില്‍ മറ്റൊരാള്‍. മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ വ്യത്യസ്തതയില്ലാതെ വ്യത്യസ്തനാകുകയാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാലിന് മലയാളികള്‍ സ്വന്തം ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ എന്നും ഇടം കൊടുക്കുന്നത്. 

കൂടുതല്‍ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിരീക്ഷിച്ചാല്‍, മോഹന്‍ലാലിന്‍റെ സിനിമകളില്‍ ലാല്‍ എന്ന നടനെ കാണുക അപൂര്‍വമാണ്. കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളായി മാത്രമേ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടാറുള്ളൂ. കിരീടത്തിലെ സേതുമാധവനില്‍ ഒരു ശതമാനം പോലും ലാലിന്‍റെ മാനറിസങ്ങള്‍ നിരീക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല. ദേവാസുരത്തില്‍ അയാള്‍ മംഗലശ്ശേരി നീലകണ്ഠനാണ്. പാദമുദ്രയില്‍ അയാള്‍ മാതുപ്പണ്ടാരം. ‘ചിത്ര’ത്തില്‍ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളുടെ ചതിക്കുഴിയില്‍ അകപ്പെട്ടുപോയ പാവം വിഷ്ണു.

കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് അയാള്‍ പ്രേക്ഷകരില്‍ ജീവിക്കുന്നത്. തബല അയ്യപ്പനില്‍ നിന്ന് ഭരത്ഗോപിയെ വേര്‍തിരിച്ചെടുക്കാനാവാത്തതു പോലെ, ലാല്‍ അതവതരിപ്പിച്ച കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് മോഹന്‍ലാലിലെ ഒരിക്കലും കണ്ടെടുക്കാനാവില്ല. വാനപ്രസ്ഥത്തിലെ കഥകളിക്കാരന്‍ കലാമണ്ഡലം ഗോപിയെപ്പോലും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് ലാലിന്‍റെ ജന്‍‌മസിദ്ധമായ കഴിവിനുള്ള അംഗീകാരമാണ്.

മണിരത്നവും സിബി മലയിലും സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാടും ഫാസിലുമൊക്കെ ലാലിന്‍റെ അഭിനയത്തികവിനു മുന്നില്‍ ‘കട്ട്’ പറയാന്‍ മറന്ന നിമിഷങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കിരീടത്തിന്‍റെ ക്ലൈമാക്സില്‍ കീരിക്കാടനെ കുത്തിമലര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള ആ നില്‍പ്പ്, ചന്ദ്രലേഖയിലെ ആ പ്രശസ്തമായ ചിരി, ഭരതത്തില്‍ അഗ്നിക്കു നടുവിലിരുന്നുള്ള ആ പാട്ട്, ഉത്സവപ്പിറ്റേന്നില്‍ കുട്ടികളുടെ മുമ്പിലെ ആ ആത്മഹത്യ - മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച അഭിനയ മുഹൂര്‍ത്തങ്ങള്‍ ഒരായിരമെങ്കിലും ഓരോ നിമിഷവും പ്രേക്ഷകന്‍റെ ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് തള്ളിക്കയറിവരുന്നു.

മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി അഭിനയിക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. ഒരു കഥാപാത്രമാകുമ്പോള്‍ അയാള്‍ ആ കഥാപാത്രം മാത്രമാണ്. മഹാസമുദ്രത്തില്‍ അയാള്‍ ഇസഹാഖ് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായി മാറിയതുകൊണ്ടാണ് നടുക്കടലിലേക്ക് ഡ്യൂപ്പുപോലുമില്ലാതെ എടുത്തുചാടിയത്. സദയത്തില്‍ കുട്ടികളെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന അയാളുടെ കണ്ണുകളിലെ വന്യമായ തിളക്കം ആ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്‍റേത് മാത്രമാണ്. ആക്ഷനും കട്ടിനുമിടയില്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ എന്ന നടന്‍ ഇല്ലാതാകുകയും കഥാപാത്രം മാത്രം ജീവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. 

കഥാപാത്രത്തെ പ്രണയിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാലിന് ഇതൊക്കെ സാധ്യമാകുന്നത്. കമലദളത്തിലെ നന്ദഗോപാലന്‍ മാഷായി നൃത്തമാടാന്‍ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ലാലിന് കഴിയില്ല. കഥാപാത്രത്തെ മാത്രമല്ല, മോഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന എന്തിനെയും അയാള്‍ പ്രണയിക്കുന്നു. പത്മരാജന്‍ എന്ന സംവിധായകനോട് ലാലിന് പ്രണയമായിരുന്നു. പത്മരാജന്‍റെ സെറ്റില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പത്മരാജനെപ്പോലെ തന്നെ പെരുമാറിയിരുന്നു. ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ലാല്‍ പത്മരാജനായി മാറിയിരുന്നു. പത്മരാജന്‍റെ സ്വഭാവ സവിശേഷതകള്‍ ആവാഹിച്ച പകല്‍ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന സിനിമയില്‍ സിദ്ദാര്‍ത്ഥന്‍ എന്ന സംവിധായകനായി ലാല്‍ നടിക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോള്‍ പത്മരാജനെ അറിയാതെ സ്മരിച്ചുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആ നടനവൈഭവത്തിന്‍റെ കാന്തി ദിനം‌പ്രതി ഏറുന്നത് കണ്ട് വിസ്മയത്തോടെ, ആദരത്തോടെ മാറിനില്‍ക്കുന്നു. ഇനി ഒരായിരം ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ആ അത്ഭുതസാന്നിധ്യം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് ഓരോ മലയാളിയും.

ഉത്സവ സീസണുകളിലും മറ്റും കേരളത്തിലെ തിയേറ്ററുകളില്‍ അന്യഭാഷാചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ റിലീസ് ചെയ്യുന്നത് നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനായി കൂട്ടായ തീരുമാനമുണ്ടാകണമെന്ന് നടന്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍. തന്റെ പുതിയ ചിത്രമായ 'ഇവിടം സ്വര്‍ഗമാണി'ന്റെ പ്രദര്‍ശനത്തിനുശേഷം നടന്ന മുഖാമുഖത്തില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍.
'അവതാര്‍' പോലുള്ള വിദേശചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉത്സവസീസണുകളില്‍ തിയേറ്റര്‍ കിട്ടുമ്പോള്‍ മലയാളചിത്രങ്ങളെയാണത് ബാധിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത്തരം റിലീസുകളുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ കൂട്ടായ ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ നടത്തി തീരുമാനമെടുക്കണം. സൂപ്പര്‍താരങ്ങള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നതാണ് മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയെന്ന് കരുതുന്നില്ല. നല്ല സിനിമകള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകാന്‍ മുതല്‍മുടക്കും കൂടും.നിലവാരത്തോടെ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ സിനിമ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച രീതിയില്‍ സംവദിക്കില്ല. താന്‍ എത്ര കാശ് വാങ്ങണമെന്നത് എന്റെ മാത്രം തീരുമാനമാണ്. പലപ്പോഴും കാശ് വാങ്ങാതെ അഭിനയിച്ചതും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ. തങ്ങള്‍ക്കിണങ്ങുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നവരെ സംവിധായകന് വിളിക്കാം - മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
